Introduction

Input demand information is key for informed decision making by private input suppliers. It helps the private input suppliers to make sure the right volume of input is made available at the right time for the customers. However, the input system is full of constraints including lack of effective input demand and supply information systems.

Objectives

This half day meeting brings together the private inoculant supplier (MBI), farmers’ cooperative unions, research and development projects, and an ICT solution actor (apposit) to discuss and look for potential partnerships in piloting ICT platforms to enhance sustainable input supply chain development.
